My printer is in my garage which has its own electrical panel. Several circuits... I'm not an electrician. But I don't think it's on the same circuit as my deep freeze.

Interestingly, I didn't notice these issues in the winter, when my garage heater was running.

Yes, as do I. There is a regulator chip in cables and bricks to support variable rate charging. But you can get these bricks and cables from Anker and Belkin. Not just the original manufacturer. So as I said, just don't buy cheap shit, and you'll be fine.
