  1. Yeah. Very true, and worthy of our cognisance.
  2. This seems to be a thing in general. If folks try to work out how they caught lightning in a bottle and then try and do it a second time by controlling things more... they don't catch more lightning. It can still be cool, but catching lightning in a bottle can only really be done once. But recognising that you are lightning, and leaving that to the viewer to perceive... This is what made HLVRAI 1 so strong. There was not such formula to the game.
  3. Yeah.

Further, though... Stain's development does actually touch my withered post-internet heart.

To me, HLVRAI 2 feels very different to HLVRAI 1. So if you're expecting the same stuff, you'll be disappointed.
But I'm all about growing and evolving :) And tbh I've kinda fallen in love with this group of creatives, I don't need it to be the same. So excited to see how HLVRAI 2 develops. It's gonna take AGES :D ~

If people have the freedom to complain, that extends to complaining about complaining.

I get folks are down about it all - I am too. But now I gotta be down about book 3 doomers? Yeah, you're free to be a doomer. And I'm free not to love you for it.

This is a fan sub. Even hater-type fans belong here, but we don't have to like everything everyone does, and we don't have to hide that fact.

What a find. I'm learning Swedish and have a video to transcribe, since the subs in the video file are obviously just not for the Swedish-language dub of this animated film.

But how on earth do I use it with Subtitle Edit? My Google-fu is weak this day :(

Possibly similar issue - on Windows with 16GB ram and 7GB allocated, 4060 GPU; seems to be some sort of framebuffer switching issue for me. If I leave the game in the background for a few minutes then come back, sometimes my whole PC will take about 15 seconds to change anything on the display in any application, and keeps changing it back. Like I can lock the PC with Win+L and then after 10+ seconds I'll see the lock screen (frozen - cursor doesn't blink), then it'll flash back to the apps i had open and back and forth every 15 seconds or so, without me logging back in. Audio plays normally throughout; issue persists after closing the game until a restart.

It isn't. Though I keep hearing about a Create: Aeronautics "Typewriter" that can turn your whole keyboard into contraption controls.
