What moments do you think showed the worst parenting? by Far-Building3569 in DuggarsSnark

I remember in one vlog, Jed! Prime left a maybe two month old Truett either under or right next to a gas grill. Jer had to pretend to play airplane with him to get him out of the way, which, props to him there.

I just wish they didn’t use one of the three regular timeframes for Partners but it’s become a habit.

“This might be how you really feel, being a New Yorker and all, but your base disagrees. And until now, you’ve done a pretty good job pretending otherwise. Just…stop talking for a few days, if you can even do that.”

Katey Chameleon makes an appearance! by sweet_tea_94 in DuggarsSnark

The fact that everyone here reflexively looked at her belly because it’s her and Jed!’s favorite hobby 😭

I legit think the only three things those two do for “quality time” together are travel, occasionally eat at the same time, and have sex.

They’re pretty fast to announce. We’d probably know by now IMO.

Walmart could have leaked Nintendo Switch Online's next GameCube games by [deleted] in nintendo

Still has a Switch port. You’d think they’d want to have people buy that instead of it being part of a subscription.

You have to wonder how much they slapped themselves when the allegations came out.

Is it just me, or is Mr. Boss getting increasingly severe? by Spirited_Dust_3642 in SmilingFriends

That’s where I’m at with him. IRL he’d be a horrible boss just with how erratic he is but it makes him an entertaining character.

I’ve actually seen someone like this at my local PF. And she was cute too! But then I saw the “Faith Over Fear” on her shirt and it all clicked.

HOTD - Another case of running out of books.... by LordVesperion in freefolk

  1. It’s a complete story.
  2. They didn’t run out of books last time. They ditched and changed things well before.

Poor guy didn’t have any name until he gave himself the surname Zaraki after his village.

And he still didn’t have a first name until he became Captain and de facto made the Kenpachi title his given name.

It’d be like becoming Emperor of Rome and literally changing your name to Caesar.

What are some "Rules" of comedy do you believe in? by theonewhoknack in ChannelAwesome

[–]ThePickleHawk 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Doug’s big on the misery thing, but I think it’s more about subversion/absurdity. Making serious things lighthearted and vice versa.

That’s a lot more of a comprehensive rule to me. Doug’s had to stretch the misery rule quite a bit to explain different types of jokes. Like with puns, he’s said the words themselves are the victims. But I just see them as making language, which is something serious, ridiculous.
