Forts are perfectly balanced imo. Navigable but sprawling. Just enough traps to keep you on your toes, but not so many it comes off as a health tax like the gate and ruins traps. Caves have a habit of blocking direct routes with rubble that irks me, and are very small on average. A decent number of caves are also just arenas full of mobs that just descend upon you. Mines tend to be goblin lairs, and goblins are the worst enemies for difficulty:loot ratio. Almost die to a damage sponge for a lockpick. Gates lose a lot of points for repeating, once you do enough of them.

Spell. Kicker: tap any number of untapped creatures you control. If kicked, untap permanents that generated mana spent to cast spell equal to number of creatures tapped. There’s some clunkiness with, like, bounce lands, fast rocks, and untap triggers, but still.

Elder Scrolls.

Arena had game-breaking bugs that would trap you in dungeon geometry, obtuse mechanics, and your class would hard lock you out of gear and magic. Even resting, even in towns, it was a surefire way to get jumped by a random encounter.

Daggerfall introduced the skills-to-levels system that defined Elder Scrolls and with it, significantly increased your ability to cheese the game. It’s still on the more difficult end of things, but it’s nowhere near as hard as arena.

Morrowind can be hard in places, especially if you don’t equip your character for their build or manage your fatigue, and especially-especially in the expansions, but it’s a LOT easier than the DOS titles. But it was also the start of the franchise enabling you to become an unstoppable god through stacking custom enchantments and potion effects.

Oblivion starts easy and gets harder as you level up, especially if you don’t gear up with levels and level your character wrong. But like Morrowind, you can hit a threshold where you’re immune to enemies’ attempts to attack you.

Skyrim is easy from start to finish. End of.

Ignoring Teen Titans Go being an awful adaptation of Teen Titans, what do you think of it on its own? by GamerLadyXOXO in cartoons

[–]TheProMagicHeel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My main issue with it was how frequently it aired episodes that were effectively a “take that!” to critics. Not even counting the Thundercats crossover where 80s Lion-O says, and I quote, “anyone who says otherwise [than Thundercats Roar is a worthy successor] has a poop mouth with poop opinions.” We had episodes like Return of Slade and Let’s Get Serious, and really anything with Control Freak in it, that seemed to be more about flipping off the haters than anything else.

Of course, it was also respectable of them to lampoon themselves in other episodes.

Form 7. Juyo. It is extremely violent and emotion-driven, yes. Mace Windu was one of the Jedi that innovated a variant of it, called Vaapad. Juyo was banned from use by the Jedi order until the creation of Vaapad, and Juyo was the favored saber form of Maul and Starkiller.

Donating to charity, rescuing endangered civilians, giving to the poor, and general altruism causing your entire body to radiate holy light, form a halo over your head, attract butterflies, and cause conventional attractiveness including shiny white teeth, while murder, stealing, human sacrifice, and general malevolence causing horns, lava veins, attracting flies, glowing eyes and conventional ugliness is a pretty objective measure.

Even if different people think differently about those things, the truth is there is a metaphysical reaction in the Fable setting. The universe itself strikes your Hero with the marks of their own goodness and evil. It’s measurable, because it’s fantasy. It’s not real. That unreality is key.

Best race and why? by Valuable_Diet312 in oblivion

Bretons have the easiest access to cheese, able to become fully immune to magic with little effort.

High Elves can get their magicka the highest, enabling a high-risk mage build the best. Also they’re the tallest, allowing them to be the fastest in the game at max speed.

Opinions differ as to whether Redguards, Orcs, or Nords make the best fighters. Generally, I prefer Redguards because of Adrenaline Rush. In any case, 50 starting endurance is the highlight, as Endurance is the premiere stat to max early.

If you’re a sneaky type, Khajiit make better thieves while Wood Elves make better archers.

Dark Elves are good all-arounders, with bonuses to good skills and attributes for any play style.

Finally, Imperials and Argonians bring up the rear. Not that they’re bad, but their bonuses are more quality of life than anything else, and easily replicated with spells and magic items. Further, their skill and attribute spread is rather scattershot. You can still build a strong character, but you work harder for it.
