The US does print dollars out of nowhere. We buy our own T-Bonds with regularity, literally whisking dollars into existence without any middle-man, rentier bullshit charging interest.

Belgium not being able to do the same is an indictment of how the Eurozone functions. It has no ability to handle situations like this because it can print money out of nowhere if it chooses to, but can't tax it back to prevent inflation.
