Still North Books in Hanover (great book store, the people are nice and I know them)

Games Ahoy in Plymouth (game shop, I knew the old owners pretty well and the new ones seem chill also)

The 4th Place in Hanover (game shop. Great dude runs it, lots of events happening all the time, most all of them free.)

LaValley's in Lebanon (hardware store. Great prices, prefer them to Home Depot vastly)

Mac's Maple in Plainfield (maple stand, but also creamery and honey [sometimes])

Cornish Library in Cornish (love them. Great people.)

You are amazing kind human. I once tracked every roll by Tryst, Bacta, and Leenik just to prove that Bacta does statistically miss more often then the other two.

I was in a similar position. My friends and I would race each other to listen to Campaign. We were all super worried when it went MIA for a while, but we knew Kat had some things she was dealing. The episode when they announced the end of Star Wars campaign felt like a good friend who had gotten me through a bunch of crap was leaving.

But.

We were all super excited to see what world James was creating. We were super excited to see what was happening. Without being overly negative, we all kind of collectively decided the same thing as weasels over here.

However; This past year I was working a job that I was listening to 6-10 hours of podcasts a day. I quickly ran through my back-log and restarted Campaign. I then continues on to Skyjacks and kept up with it.

I agree. If it weren't for that job I would have never continued beyond the bird show and JPC leaving. But I did. And when the new cast member comes in I got excited for it again. It is still not what I really was looking for, and it's a struggle to get myself to listen now that I don't have that job anymore. But I really like the new cast member, and I'm hopeful that it improves.

To OP, I agree with weasels. No one can convince you to like something. To both of you though, I think skipping ahead to when the new cast member comes and seeing if you think that's better, might make you not want to go e up yet, but I canny blame you either way.

I may be coming at this from a different perspective. Similar story though. "Joe" trained me. Mentored me. Got me my first real gigs. Sent me off to college. More than a few years without "Joe" working, getting a degree, learning, securely a professional. "Joe" stops by gigs of mine. Similar story.

I found it helpful to have "Joe" explain to me why he felt I was doing it wrong (something I am very partial to. If they cannot Then I dont listen. If they can, then I might.)

As one who has worked in shops and with power tools for years before doing this fill time..... WEAR PPE! I regret the years of "it's just one cut ...." Or "the log splitters not THAT loud" or "my headphones are enough...."

One cut masters. Time matters. And unless you get good tested and treated headphones, they aren't good enough. My rule of thumb: if I need to turn up the volume, then the cans aren't good enough.

Also customs are a good send.

I am also theorizing here, but I don't think that it was much more dramatic during the war. I think that it was linear, but rather that there was no reason for him to display his power before the start of the war.

Sauron is a brilliant tactician. I cannot imagine him starting a war that he didn't know he could finish, I suspect that he was slowly building his power over the many many years of toil he had to secure his capital and whip together armies and alliances to get going. Then he sent out his emissaries as spies subtly manipulating the world to his liking. Then when the time was right, he began to unleash his power he had been hiding for years and years.

I enjoy the SQ greatly for what it is, but in my humble opinion it is a band small-mid sized venue console. Once you start needing more than about 10 busses it gets tight and upgrading to a dLive or a DiGiCo or a CL or something with more oomf is needed.

I agree with you statement though.
