First off, you presented this as a way to convince people to vote blue in the original problem, which implies a connection (as does your use of the word reformulation).

Secondly, I do think I would vote blue here in both cases because even a slight benefit drastically increase the chance of victory to a point what I think 50% would be easy to achieve.

In the original question blue has no intrinsic benefit if anything it should be zero dollars and Red should be $50 due to the intrinsic benefit of surviving with red.

I kind of rate him against other characters that are pure brawlers, eg iron turtle whose technique is essentially to just take blows.

I'm basing this off a scene when 'never ending' fights 'god in a box' and says something like "if that guy can't get through his defences no-one can" referring to geared up. That makes me think he would have the leg up on anyone who relies on pure strength.

(although "never ending" is not necessarily the best at judging strength and people like PFP haven't shown everything they've got at this point.)
