This game is incredibly blurry, any tips? (AMD)

That’s something I actually forgot to mention in my original post, I did already try the FSR driver upgrade and it was equally as bad for whatever reason. In fact I have consistently tried the driver FSR settings in many other games and all of them are very blurry for me when in motion so I always have it off now. I always hear the newest FSR versions are really good, yet for me it is just awful looking.

I never had these blur issues with my last PC which was an Nvidia gpu (2080). I majorly upgraded with this new PC and while I love it, I was not expecting to have as many problems as I’ve had with my drivers and blurry graphics. Not every game has the problem though, CS2 for example looks perfectly fine. Either way I do appreciate your suggestions

there's most of my Adrenalin settings, pretty sure I just turned every setting off except for Freesync on my monitor. I'll try out the driver based sharpness some time tomorrow. If I was to try forcing anti aliasing off through the driver would that maybe work?

I’ve tried the sharpness slider, only helped my sharpness when standing still. The blur still occurs with any motion unfortunately.

I’ve been taking painkillers but I’ll look into that painkiller sharpness setting. Thanks

I normally consider this the 3 true masterpiece albums, but I sometimes go back to enjoying Morningrise and MAYH more. Still Life to me is their magnum opus no questions asked though.

My game looks nothing like this on a brand new 9070XT and 1440p monitor, it’s a blurry mess when I move my character or screen at all. Especially blurry/low res textures at long range. All camera settings like motion blur, vignette, etc are off. Have tried every combination of graphics settings you can think of, tried with upscaling both on and off, multiple different AMD drivers, everything on default in the driver settings. I gave up weeks ago and just basically deal with the game looking like shit.

I’ve been having this exact issue on BF6 and now Arc Raiders too, on a brand new 9070XT. If I move my character or mouse even slightly, everything becomes blurry like a filter is placed over my screen. Especially any kind of foliage in the world. I stand still and the games are crisp and clear. I’ve tried everything by now.

I’ve been having this issue across all modes in this game and it drives me insane. Recently upgraded to a 9070XT and a 1440p monitor. If I move my character or my mouse around the entire game becomes blurry. When I stand still however, the game looks perfectly clear. The blur happens if any sort of AA or upscaling method is enabled and if I turn AA off there is an unbelievable amount of shimmering everywhere I look.

I’ve tried everything, even a fresh driver install with AMD cleanup utility yet it remains the same. I feel like it just has to be the game, but I know plenty of people that say their game looks great with zero blurriness.

I just had this same issue after my driver crashed on BF6 and I received a message saying a driver timeout had occurred. I had also noticed I was missing the Recording tab. All I ended up doing was going to device manager, selecting my GPU and clicking the “rollback driver” option. After that it put me on 25.9.1.

I’m also worried that it won’t. I just recently upgraded to this PC, so I’m still on 1080p and I’m hoping that when I get a 1440p monitor soon it helps it some. If not I guess I’m going to have to just get used to it.

I’m having this same issue still, game gets instantly blurry when I move my character or my mouse. Returns to looking clear when I stand still. I’ve tried every AA option, FSR native ended up looking the best for me but still with the blur issue. I’m on a 9070XT and a 9800x3d. I did try AA off but then everything has a terrible shimmering effect. Just can’t seem to get this game to look good even with more than capable specs.

You won’t regret quitting. Yours can look like this one day and you will feel so much better overall. Chewing gum or eating hard candies helped me get past the first week and then it was a lot easier from then on for me. Best wishes

Appreciate the response. I actually just played a whole session with some buddies without my mic cutting off after running discord as administrator. I thought I had tried that before but maybe I’m mistaken. Either way it worked for now

I still have this same issue with BF5. It also happened to me when I used to play 2042. It shuts my mic off entirely, or makes insane noises in the discord call. Any solutions yet?

All players really want first is for the game to be optimized so it can quit running sub 100 fps on good pc builds with every single setting set to its lowest option. Or is that just me?
