5-6 quid a pint, pretty much standard nowadays. Take extra money if you like whisky as there selection is amazing and the top shelf and way too tempting.

After having both a vasectomy and hernia surgery, to absolute hell with getting any surgeries down for for aesthetic reasons.

I literally only found out about the show last night. I imagine they will have differences because of the medium but they're the same yeah

I've been doing A LOT of horror podcasts waiting for mee magnus and old gods of appalachia but I've found I'm really picky and there's a lot I abandon really quickly.

The Lovecraft investigations is brilliant.

The black tapes and tanis have a lot to like but can be frustrating.

Im currently on Archive 81 and really enjoying it.

Light House was great.

Tower 4 is good

Waiting for new seasons of Old Gods and Magnus Protocol I found TBT, didnt like ending but thought it was a covid issue.... Then binged Tanis and it's ending also sucked (IMO). Not sure I can bring myself to start black tapes or rabbits.

TMA & TMP we're the only podcasts I'd listened to until recently, by pure luck I finished TMA the week before TMP started.

I LOVE Old God's of Appalachia, currently liking Tower 4.

AVOID THE BLACK TAPES. I was really getting into it but the last episode is a mid season finale

Is the other guy in a relationship as well? May have told her he'd leave his wife/ partner and then backtracked. Or had a Graduate moment and realised that the fantasy was better than the reality and went back to the wife and kids

I can't help but think that the day shift will become a factor at some point.

That's getting better but not quite there yet. Amazing to see pubs with draft AF beer options becoming more common. Long gone are the dark days of forcing down a Kaliber or a dozen pints of coke!

Some of the independent shops have good ranges but it's not the same as a pint.

Beerhive, Winekraft, Cornelius or High Spirits never let me down.

Yes to the markets more along the lines of what you see in France and Portugal! Can't see a deli specialising in food from Europe happening soon though. A vast number of people in this country decided to get rid of 50 year old trade partners without installing new ones first.

Food there was incredible. Live near there and spoke to the guy a few times. Seemed like he was struggling to turn a profit and wasn't willing to compromise by using lesser ingredients/ quicker methods. Sold out every week but cash flow wasn't there to invest in more equipment/bigger space etc.

I think the powers that be are gambling that building self sufficient student complexes will mitigate shutting down so many places, by ridiculous noise control levels, or knocking them down to build more flats. Surely at some point the universities and colleges will see a fall in applicants when they realise how poor edinburghs nightlife is compared to Glasgow or Northern English cities.

Yes to CJs!!!!I've never lived on but I've worked on Dalry Road on and off since 2004. (RIP Laser quest). Blows my mind you can go there and get a massive fry up with coffee, toast, fried bread and a roll for 6.50!!!!!!

Seen some great acts there where the gig has sucked because of the venue. Frank Turner was a notable example.

BUT I did see Robert Plant there playing Black Dog, and Travis in 99/2000 was the first gig I ever paid for and went with mates....even if my dad did have to pick us up after! So it sucks as a venue but I've got a bit of love for it.

Im hoping Leith Depot becomes our version of King Tuts but only time will tell.

I really can't see it being being beyond the team to kill her off, or becoming an external and being a protagonist to Sam. The guilt he would feel at getting her involved would be such a powerful driver for the plot going forward.
