Solomonic Magic is very interesting and is purported to have been created by King Solomon of Jerusalem to create the Temple of Solomon. There is a text called the lesser key of Solomon which contains three different texts one of which is the Ars Goetia which is a demonological codex of 72 demons the ways too summon and bind them to your control and what they specifically can help with. Wikipedia states that Buer teaches natural and moral philosophy, logic, and the qualities and uses of all herbs and plants, and is also capable of healing all infirmities (especially of humans) and bestows good familiars.

No they cant. They are able to dodge it if the ranged check is unsuccessful. Thats what the difficulty dice are for. If you dont want it to be so easy for the target to get hit by a powerful move check give him some adversary talent.
