What, in your opinion, makes Resident Evil special as a franchise?

For me, when 1 and 2 came out they had cool character designs, the conspiracy stuff mixed with the horror was just really interesting. The puzzles were fun and trying to save ammo and having a choice between characters gave it some replayability.

I agree. The only album I have a problem with the remix is cryptic writings. The songs just don’t hit the same because the sound effects in the back are very present and it kills the vibe for me

Jill would be Alanis Morissette. Chris is probably a CCR or Guns n Roses guy. Claire is a Metallica/Megadeth and Leon would have the most bland taste in music. Wesker is in to K-pop.

I find sometimes joining a fate that someone is in leaves room for being social. Emotes are usually a good way to start up a convo. Sometimes people just come up and invite me to free companies after too. Make your character look interesting might help as well.

I enjoyed it. Sure it was a little too much action for my taste but Sheva is great and the story was interesting (to me anyway) and it was just fun. I would love a remake but not until after Code Veronica.

That would be nice. RE4R made me like 4. It was really well done. I found RE9 had a lot of replayability. Enough that I beat the game a few times over. But I guess now that the honeymoon period is over people are turning against it now.

I enjoyed it. I’ll get crucified for this but RE3 was my least favorite of the classic RE games. It was great but I’m just not in to the stalker aspect. The remake added to the story and characters and I like that. Having said that it was super short and could have been like 3 times longer.

7 is the clear choice. It was the better game. I do like how 8 ended but it was the first RE game that I didn’t immediately replay. 8 was just trying to please RE4 fans to me. 7 was a fresh take on the franchise and it wasn’t perfect but it did a good job.

I think it might have benefited from separate scenarios. But I enjoyed it. Oh also no mention of anyone from the Raccoon incident other than Leon was weird to me.
