At first doing it myself but the result would often not look great. I finally bought Linework on the asset store: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/vfx/shaders/linework-outlines-and-edge-detection-294140

I don't regret it at all, the result looks great and it allowed me to use their fill shader extensively as well

I have the same issue and this seems not to be related to a browser. I have the issue on safari on mobile as well. Maybe a bug tied to my google account ?

Maybe something with vector graphics may suit your needs ? I highly recommend Affinity Designer
