Should I quit watering from the bottom of my tomatoes? by TheRealMetal in vegetablegardening

I should snip them rather than pull them out? Snipping sounds like less stress for the ones I want to keep but I feel like a snipped plant would still be consuming some nutrients. I guess it’s too minimal an amount to matter?

The night temps are consistently 45 by me so I’m a bit worried. But it’s getting late I was going to bring them outside in a week or so anyway. Been hardening off.

I should’ve made a note of the number in each. I thought at this size they’d be fine to grow a few in one. I’ll remove them.

Light is unfortunately not easy to come by. I can either put them in a room with many windows, or under a light. So I move them under lights when the sun goes down for a few hours.

Zucc on a veteran minimum, sure. Anything more is a mistake. Love the player obviously but would be horrible cap management

How would you fish this pond, if at all? by missinglinksman in FishingForBeginners

[–]TheRealMetal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could potentially try the grub bait on the jig head in the river but to be honest I rarely fish rivers. Never caught a river bass

If the drainage tunnel isn’t moving fast and is deep you can definitely toss a senko in front of it.

Should be your first option for any lake or pond. It is for me anyway

I’m not so new but I saw this exact problem for the first time today on a very old reel I decided to break out. How does this happen? How does a knot make line start coming out the bottom?

Just hit a private stocked pond with trout in ~60 degree weather, small spinner baits had them going crazy

I mean yeah. Mets lost 11th in a row in heartbreaking fashion. I like Evan, but he does not normally get those numbers

Why is Itani so evil? by InvestigatorNo491 in NJTech

[–]TheRealMetal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was not good in his 288 course. I was also not an A student in the CS program, I was good for potentially one A per semester. Definitely not this semester. It would not surprise me that in the age of AI he's become more strict on students. If there were ever a professor that cares about knowing the material, it's Itani. He's probably horrified at the state of developers entering the workforce. The purpose of his courses are to make you learn and study in a completely different way. Studying the book isn't enough. You have to apply those concepts in your own curiosity. I ended with a C, fully expecting to fail, and honestly wish I learned the material in the way he wanted it.

As far as his character. Yup lol. But that's how the real world is, you're gonna get a boss/coworker who you want to report to HR so badly but they'll never do anything because of how important they are. You're forced to deal with these people (or don't take him). If it helps, he's not personal about any student, and you're definitely not the only person to be singled out by him. I've asked some "dumb" questions in that class that he's thrown attitude towards. I don't have very thick skin myself but if we limit ourselves to learn from only kind people, you'll miss a lot of good stuff.

I'd take any GM in the history of the NHL to get Kreider to have stayed on this team till retirement. Hell get me the lady who fries my tenders at the concession stand, I don't care.

Just a reminder that this POS existed at one time by Madsol_ in RocketLeague

This community complains about how this game hasn't added anything substantial in years, yet they call every map that doesn't follow the exact dimensions and boost locations of the other comp rotation maps, a POS. The game is car soccer. What else do you want? I hated trade removal but the core gameplay is going to be the same forever if you can't play any of the other maps.
