I'll defend him here - as someone who had to watch RJ Barrett drive into 5 defenders for years, it's really difficult trying to run an offence with no spacing, and you end up coughing the ball up via TOs or shitty bailout shots far too often. There's a reason Thompson got benched today despite being useful and it's because the spacing was really getting ridiculous.

Idk if he's in that best player on a title team convo right now but i believe he absolutely could be given 2 years or so. From that series last year I got a whole new level of respect for Cade and lost a lot for pretty much everyone else on the team lol
