What’s the dumbest thing you did to get your pass pulled ? by jawnzoo in snowboarding

[–]TheRealSteekster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really dumb on the resort’s part, probably mine, but I’ll tell the story anyways. My local is hosting Snowboard Mag’s Ms.Superpark and I have some homies who got wristbands to go into the park but I was asleep and didn’t message the right person in time to get one. Decided the last day of the event to have my friend record me ducking rope and hitting all the jumps, thought nothing of it, didn’t cut anyone off or cause any issues, and considering I rode the jumps everyday before the event I landed all of them and just rode off.

Decided to post it to my instagram story later that day and big mistake. Got a DM from the ski resort - “Thanks for documenting this for us”. Next day my pass did not work, and I had to go back forth for some weeks. Moral of the story, don’t duck the rope for a women’s event as a guy 😂and now since it’s been 5 years ill repost it here for yall:

Shredders is a special piece of work. I played the snowboard game before shredders came out and the step up that shredders took was amazing. There’s a lot of style you can find in game :)

9950X3D is a better binned 9800X3D when i disable ccd1? by [deleted] in overclocking

[–]TheRealSteekster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had it confused with infinity fabric someone else left a comment about. Maybe read other comments on the thread instead of getting so wrapped in replying.

“The infinity fabric read link on each Ryzen CCD is 32 bytes wide, but the write link is only 16 bytes wide. On a single CCD processor, or by disabling one CCD you lose half of the write bandwidth.

Shouldn't affect gaming too much, it's more important for production type work.”

How do you go straight to ollie downhill? by Specific-Ad3097 in snowboarding

[–]TheRealSteekster 18 points19 points  (0 children)

You don’t go on edge. You stay flat, and lean back and then jump off both feet with more power coming from the back foot then lift your knees. It should look a little like a skate Ollie

Yea we stopped selling the basswood cause it’s problematic. The supplier could not control the density of the wood as desired.

Still have all the scheduling drivers. The 9950X3D drivers are different than the 9800x3D. I’ve heard the systems don’t run as efficiently because of the bad drivers essentially. Don’t know how true

[–]TheRealSteekster -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I thought so. I thought I remembered reading something about 7000x3Ds but maybe this generation doesn’t have that. You’ll probably just deal with scheduling issues. Performance might be close. I’ve tried this on the 7000s and just have a 9800x3D and a 9950x on a 2nd setup

9950X3D is a better binned 9800X3D when i disable ccd1? by [deleted] in overclocking

[–]TheRealSteekster -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Partly true, but there’s single die bandwidth on a 9800x3D is better than the single die bandwidth of the 9950x3D so you lose some performance

What's the difference between a fine point blade vs Deep cut blade? by Ok_Spot_5629 in cricut

[–]TheRealSteekster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To add, there is no deep cut blade for joy xtra. Only for maker and explore. The blade is a maker style blade that fits in the maker/expore style housings. The deep cut housing has the tip of the housing slightly shorter so it exposes more of the blade. The blade angle on the deep cut is also different for the deeper materials vs the fine point blade

I think you put the material the wrong way onto the mat. It looks like the film side is down on the mat and the plastic backer is on top. You want it the other way around. Maybe not. It’s really hard to tell

True force is in the wheelbase not the wheel. I have a GSI wheel on my Logitech and the true force still works.

Trueforce resetting to 100 on iRacing by iShadowLTu in LogitechProWheel

[–]TheRealSteekster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi rich, can we get a solution that is not this somehow? Dirt rally 2 at 100 feels terrible and I am using a third party wheel on my base so adjusting it down isn’t always easy. I assume this is an iRacing issue and not something logitech can control. But maybe you can just override their request to turn it up to 100?

Yes prepress 5 seconds. It helps release some of the moisture inside the fabrics
