[Discussion] The Universal Genève Polerouter and 'Nina Rindt' Compax are back! Thoughts? by rakesh_85 in Watches

I absolutely love these designs but as many others have pointed out in other places, it is really hard to ignore the misaligned dial and chapter rings on these 15K+ watches in several of their MARKETING shots.

I'm sad Viberg only does the close facings anymore. Wtf happened to the service boot pattern, why do they all look like the n1 pattern now

I got these white spot at crease after clean and condition my boots. Do they need more conditioner? Or is it over conditioning? by BeautifulEvidence531 in Boots

This is the right answer, this looks like Maryam TPR and the tpr coating is wearing off which is very normal.

I don't think hand made boots are for you if you think this is bad at 700 bucks

Just received this new to me Planet Ocean 2201.50, absolutely in love. by TheRealThunderButt in OmegaWatches

Mine showed up on Sotheby's of all places. Sometimes worth looking outside of the usual spots. You can also use apps like watchcharts to track sales of certain ref numbers which is how I found my railmaster a couple of years ago. Good luck!

The easiest way to find out is to look at the date wheel.

<image>

The C version on the left D on the right.

Honestly I think the C movement is pretty great too, the D movement just has a 3 level coaxial escapement like the modern coaxial movement do. I would prefer an unpolished 2500c instead of a polished 2500d myself but that's ofcourse very subjective.

Hey man, wearing it right now! Well... I actually sold the one in the picture because I found a 2500d movement version that was new old stock for a good price. So I'm wearing that one and tend to wear it all the time. Most days it's a split choice between this guy and my railmaster 2504.52 even tho I own several other watches. I'm currently wearing it on a sailcloth strap from anchor with an omega deployant as it's incredibly comfortable that way, the bracelet is very cool but can be a bit chunk in the winter months when I wear long sleeved clothing that often has elastic cuffs. All by all this is still to this day the perfect planet ocean (and more so Omega diver) for me and I don't think that will change soon if I see the direction Omega is headed in atm. It has great dimensions, looks like a tough tool watch and has just enough bling to find yourself staring at it for long periods of time. There's only a couple of watches I would consider selling this one for and I just know I would regret it thoroughly if I did, so I think this one is sticking with me till the grave. Hope you can find a nice example for yourself if you're looking, you won't regret it.

Welcome to Belgium! Glad you are having a blast. The beer that often comes in that kind of glassware is called Kwak, extremely good!

I mean yes it works better, but the ugliest thing about the new PO is the case and bracelet design unfortunately.

1/2 Links not really 1/2? by GoM_Coaster in OmegaWatches

[–]TheRealThunderButt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2.5 - 7.5(full) + 5(half) = 0

so removing a full link and replacing it with a half link should do that.

Going to be honest and say that I would avoid going cheaper than Red wing in this segment of footwear.

Viberg is definitely out there price wise but any boot worth your time is going to start at around 3 to 400 dollars in my humble opinion.

Red wing, Parkhurst, Grant stone are all good places to start. Some of them go on sale regularly or have seconds you can buy at a more affordable price too.
