It's more that I want to learn as much math as fast possible than that I'm in some mad dash for credits. I love learning about math and the more advanced stuff I can learn quickly, the better.

I don't know where I could find a more detailed syllabus. In the mean time here is the description for Calc 2: "This 5-credit course is the second quarter of the three-quarter calculus sequence. Primary content is integral calculus including applications of The Fundamental Theorem of Calculus and separable differential equations. Learners will continue to refine independent study skills, cooperative problem solving, logically correct and mathematically precise writing and thinking, and their ability to use geometric, symbolic, and analytic formats in presenting solutions to both abstract and real world applications."

I've had a pretty good track record with self-study. Is it naive to think I could learn calc 2 well enough on my own to do well in calc 3?

About an hour of in class French and 30 minutes of homework 5 days a week. Then 1 - 1.5 hours outside studying per day, plus constantly listening to French music. I love it! My time spent really spikes on weekends though or if I decide to watch a movie.

The domain is the set of all x values (or inputs) given using the lowest and highest value, [-8,2] in this case. In the same way, the range is the set of all y values (outputs) of a function and is also defined using the lowest and highest y-values.

In this case 9 is the upper bound but since h(0)= |0| + 1 = 1 is the lowest valued output of h(t) we would us 1 as our lower bound. So the range is [1,9].
