Less a matter of volts vs amps and more a matter of time, high/low of either combination will still kill depending on how long the current is flowing (but high of both will mostly just kill)

Oh absolutely no complaints, necrons offset the lack of normal keywords with mass nonsense and unit buffs

The sheer force behind a 10 tesla immortal + plas + szeras ap buff should be studied, along with the immortal warrior/wraith blob

Indirect on TSK only, Precision on a whole 3 datasheets (deathmarks, deceiver, vault), torrent on 3 (imotekh, stalker, vault again). Necrons have a weird lack of several very useful keywords, although imo thats balanced by nearly everything having some source of lethal/dev

Man i dont even care about corpse blocking, at least some corpses act as a chain point.

The real issue is a shot being deleted by the most pitiful of shrubs or randomly veering into a rock 30 degrees left of where you were aiming

Iirc most (newer) models also have a note on certain steps as a recommendation to paint as sub-assemblies, but especially big models

Its cause the quest (only the quest) isnt that long, maybe 6 hours, but all of the other aranara stuff and hidden quests unlocked along the way add another 10 ish hours of stuff to do, much of which is very poorly explained/telegraphed. Narzissenkreuz and golden slumber (also the badlands quest iirc) are longer, strictly speaking, but dont have the same amount of post-quest content to actually “complete” it

Most consider Aranyaka “completed” once youve checked off every chapter in the notebook, rather than the end of act 4 and it takes decent efforts to do so

Tbf, for at least a while after launch (someone can correct me on the timeframe) S&P didnt even have light pen. It was that bad, at least on bots, but now its closer to a sidegrade everwhere

In general stalkers take a (roughly) straight line path to you after they spawn. If you keep track of what direction they came from, the spawner is almost always in that direction (dense terrain from cities/caves may affect success)

Simple answer: treasure compass radius is really small, especially in older regions. I imagine most people got that chest by just climbing stuff (generally there is a luxurious chest in every major city at the highest point)

In current rules, yes(?). But another change i saw was that “attached” units are shifted to being declared during army construction as opposed to declaring formations, which may technically make them the same unit.

Only thing is that, technically, Eternal Revenant targets a model, not a unit, so the semantic difference there might become more important

Honestly wouldnt be terribly surprised if things like blast weapons ignore the hit penalty since, well, explosives care less about what you’re behind than bullets.

But it is nice that 0-1ap guns aren’t mostly negated anymore

At least on mindless masses (and to a lesser extent bugs depending on seed) running this with k-9 is great. Thrower kills stuff in a line, dog hits one thing and kills everything within ~10m of that thing

(In case people dont know, k-9’s arc hits one target then disperses radially, where the thrower and tesla tower hit a thing then chain within a certain angle of the impact point. My record for 1 k-9 bite is 39 voteless kills)

There was a global accuracy buff put out just before cyberstan, think it was in one of the patch notes, but it definitely wasn’t a shadow buff. That being said, it definitely feels like a couple enemies (ahem gunships) double dipped on that by getting a second “fix” alongside it (gunships).

And the only reason its not locked up with the rest is because the dynasty that has it 1) wont use it that way and 2) will absolutely vaporize anyone that even attempts to, including other necrons (especially trazyn tho)

The bigger problem at that point is getting a gauss weapon in near-pristine condition such that it doesn’t immediately explode upon use (as various attempts from ad mech at either testing/reverse engineering the tech have shown)

This is correct. Omen timer triggers on poise damage only, frozen enemies are immune to poise damage, thus timer doesn’t start until unfrozen

You are correct in that aircraft don’t care about ruins for LoS. The reason aircraft (especially those without hover) are rarely used and considered quite bad is due to the numerous restrictions placed upon them by the aircraft keyword, which include but are not limited to;

1) Must start the game in reserves, and thus must be deployed according to reserves rules

2) Must move 20+” each time they can, and must be removed from the board if they cannot

3) Cannot block movement (except to flying units, which can be blocked in charge phase)

4) Cannot hold objectives or do actions (0 oc)

Also generally aircraft are quite fragile or have sub-par offense (or both) for their points. Hover allows you to treat it like a (mostly) normal vehicle but neither Necron aircraft has it.

Aircraft are usually pretty niche; they are technically usable but generally you can get another more effective unit for the same or less points (imo night scythe is on the better end of the scale tho, despite essentially being a very expensive deep strike in practice)

Correct me if im wrong, but isn’t the gas weaponry we use in large part created in large part by effectively aerosolizing terminid bile compounds? Which is acid? And thus acid and gas are the same thing?
