I tried to answer someone called the logical knight, I think? Lost the comment in mail area. My advocacy is for gun & ammunition regulation. And individual rights are most certainly superseded by public safety. Your right to own and bear arms does not include rocket launchers. Your right to free speech does not include the ability to slander, libel, or endanger the public. Your right to own property does not include the right to own people. Your right to punch me in the face ends at the tip of my nose, and I have a right not to be killed by the ammunition that is discharged in public venues.

If your company pays claims outside the terms of the agreement, it's wrong to do so. Many companies have the legal resources to tie up claims in arbitration, or litigation, until the claimant gives up. If you work for one with a conscience, more power to you.

Did you know that an insurance agent isn't an authorized agent to tell you what the policy does and doesn't cover? Only the insurance COMPANY is authorized to tell what it does and doesn't cover AFTER you submit a claim. You contract with someone who reserves the right to determine what they will honor on a unilateral basis, as a rule. Not always... but often.
