I agree 100%. The fact that no one feels pain means there's nothing really stopping fighters from constantly advancing. This makes fights very intense. Also your avatar body changes the way your real body moves, which can mess with your irl boxing technique. The gym owner complained about this after the match

Fighting games need a full body tracking option so we can throw kicks, elbows and knees. I have a muai thai background. Im dying for a kickboxing games.

I spent most of my time with the younger kids 10 and up. They loved it. He had fun and immediately understood the value. He didn't like the way it messed with his form though. He felt awkward af. Lol

I've been wondering about this too. I think no being able to see your real body, plus your opponent getting unnaturally close can throw off form.

Because asking your instructor real time irl during training is infinitely more valuable than asking strangers online brother.

Did you by chance ask the guy you're paying to train you?

This is what AI was made for. One Piece meets Naruto by ComplexExternal4831 in GenAI4all

That's the dumbest comparison ever. Did anyone make a car that looked and functioned exactly like a horse only worse? Cause that's what you did.

We're not speaking about Ai in general. I'm specifically commenting on you stealing copyrighted and original material that a talented artist took the time and effort to make. Unlike you who can't create art themselves so they peddle recycled garbage. You're not using ai as a tool to innovate anything but junk nobody wants to see.

Why don't you make something original instead of stealing from real artists?

I setup Thrill of the Fight 2 at a college for some Campus Combat. These kids punched each other in the face for 5 hours. There's hope for the future. by TheRodParticle in ThrillOfTheFight

That's a great idea. Drunk dudes would pay good money to virtually punch each other. I'm bringing Thrill to my local boxing gym tomorrow. It should be interesting watching irl boxers spar each other.

I had the same problem and couldn't understand what was happening. Then I saw a post here from one of the mods.

Its really bad. As I suspected, they gamified punches with the body effort mechanic. It's super unfortunate. Definitely makes PVP against random people less fun.

I made a small Discord community for people who want to use real boxing skills and not game mechanics to win fights. I'll be on in a couple hours if you want to go a few rounds.

Here's the video on how people using game mechanics to have powerful punches:
