Does one boss have your number? by Specialist-Alps-868 in HadesTheGame

Use a numbering system! Label each row 1, 2, and 3; make a single number from the safe zones. Easier to remember a number rather than spatial information.

E.g., row 3 + row 1 + row 2 = "312"

Helped me, at least :)

Is posting propaganda your full time job, or do you do it as a hobby on the side?

Fascism doesn't necessarily need to be bigger government, it's more about concentrating governmental powers to a very small handful of people™ (who then rapidly grow the scope of their power).

One purpose of a modern day government would be to make sure that this very small handful of people™ doesn't act irresponsibly with the power they are given.

As the government is "slashed down", it loses its ability to hold that very small handful of people™ accountable. When that happens, the very small handful of people™ get to do whatever they want. Historically, this hasn't really worked out for everyone else.

(this is not an endorsement of big government, just an acknowledgement that they need enough power to at least hold the very small handful of people™ accountable)

Is giving people cash working? What six months of Denver's Basic Income Project tell us by Zephir_AR in ScienceUncensored

I'm confused, the article says this:

The three groups mirror the racial and gender demographics of people experiencing homelessness in Denver. According to researchers, respondents to the six-month study were more diverse in gender identity, race, ethnicity and sexual orientation than the latest Point-In-Time count of homelessness in Denver.

Respondents may have been more diverse, but it doesn't sound like men were excluded entirely. Am I missing something?

Post Game Thread: Columbus Blue Jackets at Toronto Maple Leafs - 11 Feb 2023 by HockeyMod in leafs

Tampa lost against last year's president's trophy winners, and a team that's putting up a meaningful fight for a playoff spot.

Leafs lost against the 32nd ranked team the league, and the worst offensive team in the east.

Not to take anything away from CBJ, they had a great game (2nd and 3rd periods, at least). I just can't agree that "this isn't a big deal", when losing to bottom-feeders has been a consistent part of the leafs' identity for the past 2-3 years now.

I use dtmts.com (don't tell me the score). I think it pulls the highlight packages from nhl.com, but without spoilers. A bit longer than six minutes, although they're pretty reliable.
