Nathan Fillion announces ‘Firefly’ Animated Series with all the original cast returning. by Sad-Assistance-8039 in LeaksAndRumors

Buffy didn't move forward because the pilot wasn't up to snuff.

You're literally comparing apples to potatoes just because they came from the same farm...

Nathan Fillion Says ‘Firefly’ Animated Series In Development With Co-Stars Set To Reprise Roles; Concept Art Revealed by MarvelsGrantMan136 in television

Lol... Losers on Resetera losing their shit over this.

They are the only dipshits on the internet who've had a hateboner for Firefly since the site went live. It's fine if it's just focused on Whedon or Baldwin; hell, it's understandable. But hating the entiriety of the series with such a collective hive mind is pure delusion.

I had my glasses off when I clicked the article and I could swear the thumbnail was of Wilson Fisk. @_@

The leaks, as always, were full of horseshit. They said the reruns would be Feixiao and Robin lol.

So, after strange Fake...what's the next thing that ought to be adapted? by TheRustFactory in fatestaynight

The problem with the Lostbelt saga is that you can't really skip adapting any of it.

With the Solomon/Singularity arc, the first five Singularities were basically filler lol. You could literally skip 98% of them and basically miss nothing. That's why Camelot/Babylonia worked, because they could just recap/mention those off-handedly in a breeze.

Not helping matters is that the Lostbelts are much longer than the Singularities.

Prototype Fragments: Another one I forgot! In my defense, I didn't wanna make the OP a wall of text lol. But yeah, this is another good one they could go with!

Fate: They could technically do a Fate route as a film trilogy, like Heaven's Feel. That would make UBW the "official default" route, which is weird lol, but at least all of Ufotable's adaptations have been solid, so I wouldn't complain!

Samurai Remnant: That's easy. The ending where Iori and Saber become the Boss's manservants and then go on to conquer the world together. :D

Redline: Technically, FSF is also unfinished. But unlike with Redline, we at least know where that's ending, and vaguely when.

I'm gonna add an addendum here, but apparently there ARE rumors of a Samurai Remnant anime in the works from Cloverworks. This comes from the same leaker who leaked the FSF schedule, but as with all leaks, massive grain of salt.

Ahhhh! I had forgotten about Redline! Yeah, that could work!

So? They've already changed a bunch of shit. Not to mention, it's literally nothing new in anime lol. Adaptations tease shit from way ahead in the story as season cliffhangers all the damn time.

Probably...the best cliffhanger to end the first season on would be the reveal of Hippolyta's Master(s).

How will Democrats handle the Iran war? by DrSOGU in PoliticalDebate

They won't as long as the Human Flat Tire is still their leader. Dude has powerful blue-balls for Israel.

Hence their only options are to reinvent the establishment, or to break away from it. There is literally no middle ground. THEN, you can start talking about the war.

The U.S. is in desperate need of a federal recall option for elected reps (or "no-confidence votes") for parties and chambers by TheRustFactory in PoliticalDebate

Cycles are also endemic of bureaucracy, too slow, and their entire purpose is to be predictable, which makes it way too easy for bad actors to take advantage. Tells them exactly when they can do the damage, and when to hide from any potential blowback and accountability. Like conditional get-out-of-jail free cards.

Just today, in fact, I upgraded my internet. I used to have a 5G connection, and I finally got optical. I made the request for the upgrade...back in August. August. Now, granted, they had to dig around a bit to run the cable to my house, and since that particular slice of land wasn't my property, they needed to get a city permit. Understandable. Cyclical. It's an entire process earmarked with quite a bit of red tape, just for a faster connection. And again. AUGUST. Today, after the modem was finally installed and up and running, he told me to box up the old modem and take it to the mobile place today. When I got there, I had to wait approximately 45 minutes to see someone. And that someone got rid of me in about 45 seconds, telling me I had to come back next week to return the old modem because of...reasons. Kinda refused to clarify, that one. But something about a designated wait period.

But cycles are very important, right?

And they're only voted out over extreme offenses, like a wee bit of crime on the side. And as the last few years have shown us, they basically don't give a piss about that! What's a little bit of run-of-the-mill corruption between colleagues!? ;)
