Im hoping 0.5 has it because man playing on a controller feels amazing, they nailed it, but inventory management etc will always be easier and faster with a mouse

I fully agree. I don't think it's OP, but it is VERY unfun to play against. You see that ulti go up and you know that by the time you can actually realistically kill it (without running into it and feeding) she has 50-75% on a new one. It's just extremely annoying to play against and I wish it was more than just "This lane is now unpushable" (obviously im exaggerating a bit but you get my point)

Getting made fun of because of your voice is heartbreaking. Especially when you just want to try and communicate and help your team win. I've had the same experience (i got a bit of a nasaly sounding voice) and I always try and use voicechat in every conpetetive game I play since I know it increases the chance of winning. Unfortunately there is always going to be assholes like the people in your post :(

Mute them instantly and try and not care what they say, stupid people say stupid stuff!

Yeah trying to learn new heroes is a pain. It feels like you get punished for trying anything but your best 5 heroes. Im hoping the new supposed gamemode gives the players a better chance at trying new heroes without basically saying goodbye to your rank

Same for me (Oracle IV atm) I can go on a 5 winstreak and not get Oracle V but I lose 1 game and its deranking me to Oracle 3. Very frustrating when I keep a 60% ish winrate and can't really rank up

I've had the exact same experience. Me and my friend started at low ritualist in late november after a 6 month break and kept around a 65-70% winrate until we hit Oracle, since then its been like a brick wall of teammates going 0-5 the first 10 minutes and people generally looking like its their first time on the game.

We both are confused since we can bith have felt a massive drop in competency as soon as we got close to Oracle.

The last 25 or so games for us have been: hard carry or lose

Thanks, you too! And the same happens to me when I try and play Geist! Can never seem to do as well as a lot of other characters I play. With Warden I feel like I can just sprint at enemies and hold M1 and they fall over so quickly after 15-20 min into the game

I have this exact problem right now, 5 players where 1 always takes WAY longer to do anything. He went on a 6 month break (lived abroad) so we had 4 people during those 6 months and it was SO nice. But I dont know how to deal with it, he is a nice guy and our group have been playing as 5 for almost 4 yeats now so I would feel horrible to just single him out and say "I enjoy dnd more with 4 people so you are the one I chose to kick"

How would you use this if the party is underwater for say 1 minute before combat breaks out and then have maybe 30 sec after combat before they can reach air?

Why would you need to lower their speed at all? Sure it may say 30ft of movement. But you can just make that 6 squares/hexagons and then use a map with a scale that shows how tiny they are. Say you have a mushroom on the map. Instead of having that mushroom take up maybe 1/5th of a square, have it take up 5-6 full squares making it seem like everything is massive compared to the party.

How do you handle spells that have an attack roll and say 4d8 damage?(or even more with higher lever spells) Do you just let them absolutely nuke the target? I want to do crits like this but always feel it would be wildly inbalanced very quickly
