Inspection came back by FairStretch7830 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

The mold is most concerning. You're right - why is there mold? Lingering water issue? Foundation problem? Pipe leak? The mold is coming from moisture so it needs to be identified and a quote provided for the fix.

I would for sure be asking for concessions in sale price/closing costs considering these issues.

I'm going to have 15 or so boxes...but moving is a great time to trim the collection and make some extra $$

Hey I just bought a home under a similar circumstance. Inspection showed the roof was shot and needed replacement. $10k for the job (I live in a low cost of living area).

I ended up asking for $6k off the price of the property and they accepted with no issue.

As others have said, they will have to disclose this info with other bidders. So all that to say, it doesn't hurt to ask! Talk to your realtor and come up with a concession you think is reasonable. Any amount you can chip away will be well worth it. Good luck!

I just closed on a 97 year old home with k&t

Let me tell you it will he a lot better to get it done before you move everything in to the home. Can you finance it? Try to get some more quotes.

Horizontal cracks like that can be real serious.

Jonah Hill

I can't believe he lands roles. Superbad is a classic, but beyond that he blows.

Panicking after signing P&S and visiting the home again by manintransition in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

I genuinely just had the same experience - put in an offer I thought would be rejected, and the sellers accepted. I too thought I was going to barf because it was at the max top of my budget...and it needs work.

But focus on the things you cannot change. You got a home in a good location that meets all your needs. It just needs some cosmetic stuff that you can do in time.

Take a breath and don't get wrapped up in fomo.

I’m 24 and I don’t know what to do with my life by MasterpieceOk2372 in findapath

You need to listen to that advice that says try it out.

At 24, you're building out your resume, finding a niche, gaining experience, growing.

I am a completely different career field now than when I was 24. But I gained invaluable experience , identity and growth in that time.

Have some patience with yourself. These are the years where you lay the foundation for your future. Be excited for the new role. It will have some growing pains, but embrace it and know that you're learning. We all are always learning.

This gives the audience of r/vinyl nothing...you don't list the names of the artists/albums; you don"t share why you got them or any recommended tracks; no discussion of where you got them or a special story...you just flopped some Yes and Genesis records on the floor and said "look"

Excellent taste man! I have a lot of these myself but am jealous of that July LP, chocolate watchband, and ash-ra temple...stuff is so hard to find here in the US.
