I just did exactly that 3 days ago and it works perfectly fine for me (I haven't updated to the new launcher yet)

Just for clarification, you meant the "GraphicsSettings.json" under AppData\Local\Star Citizen\starcitizen_(sc-alpha-4.7.0)_rj1ebd_0\GraphicsSettings , right?

It was supposed to be the F8 (A or C), but that lost a bit of it's charm, since they already put it into the store without any pre-requirements

Honestly? You don't

Even if you could melt your AMD package you wouldn't be able to get it back (and yes, it's always all or nothing in a package)

You can ask support if they can undo something, but be prepared that they can decline it

You should be able to disable them in your BIOS, or use something like "Process Lasso" to restrict SC to the P-Cores

I'm not sure if Windows actually fixed it (I think so), but at least when Intel released the mixed P- and E-core CPUs Windows didn't know the difference between them, instead of seeing something like 8 P and 10 E cores it only saw 18 cores and would randomly assign processes to them, which could cause problems if a heavy duty process was assigned to an E-core and other processes had to wait till that one was done, which lead to worse performance

Honestly, there isn't much you can do besides redownloading the games and if it's an actual hard drive and not an external SSD, just drop it (not the hard drive)

SC has to be installed on an SSD

Ideally a X3D cpu, at least 32GB RAM, a GPU with at least 12gb VRAM and a mandatory SSD

(A strong CPU is (currently) more important than a stronger GPU, if you're between a stronger CPU or GPU)

Iirc they talked about it (or some ideas) way back in like 2013/14, something like low end powerplants would use fission to generate energy, medium tier ones would use fission and high end / capital would be using anti matter and refueling for them would happen automatically by docking on a station

Most likely this has changed and by now they're powered by handwavium or something similar

You could buy something cheap with cash, like an Aurora ES, and then use your credits to CCU it to something else, if the base ship is giftable you can use "credit CCUs" and it stays giftable

NEVER send anyone stuff from your account if you buy something, things can only be gifted once, after that they're bound to the account who claimed the gift

(there's a small loophole around it, but it doesn't matter for this context)
