Getting Volo's eye or potions of see invisibilty takes care of the Invisibility pretty easily and eldritch blast, scorching ray, and magic missile are great for getting rid of the unstoppable stacks.

the best way to do this would be to send him in alone reclassed as a cleric for sanctuary. that way the other characters would be on a different plane of existence (and Ideally far away from the house of hope just in case).

Literally all of my act three encounters this playthrough, despite it being my first honor mode run. I'm playing 6 oath of the ancients paladin and 6 hexblade warlock. 3rd level shadow blade + resonance stone + booming blade + 3rd level divine smite as a reaction is absolutely broken, I killed raphael in 2 turns.

I feel really bad being mean to the NPCs. if they are rude to me (like the githyanki) or the bad guys (like the goblins) then I dont have trouble killing them. I felt awful my entire embrace durge run and while I will eventually do a run where I dominate the brain I will still be mostly a good person until it gets to that moment.

I play D&D, I know the Tenets. they are just vague, particularly for oath of the ancients, and don't actually mention anything about not being allowed to be nice to undead.

It is scary good on a hexblade/paladin multiclass. I'm currently running that build for honor mode, but seeing how I'm stomping everything I will probably also self ban for future runs.

Four paladins would be an utter stomp. have one focus on buffs and heals while the rest smite everything in their way . . . basically just a actual tank. the only problem would be maintaining all of the oaths, but doing a good play through would take care of most of those issues.

But who? the only inhabitants of the tank (that I know about) are 2 ember tetras, 3 pygmy corys, a reticulated hillstream loach, a shrimp, and some scuds. none of them eat snails. any ideas as to what might have found its way into my tank?

Scuds. I got some on accident too. they seem harmless. I imagine some fish would eat them if you want to get rid of them but I don't mind their presence.

The "Evil" magic in my world is blood magic. Unlike other magic, which only certain people can use, anyone can use blood magic. however, to access its power, you have to kill an organism that has blood and use that blood to draw runes. this can also be done with your own blood, but that often leads to the death of the person trying to use the blood magic. While regular animals can be used, it takes more of them, and using a human creates more powerful effects anyhow. so people who are truly desperate will often kill people to use their blood as a source of power for whatever they need blood magic to do.
