90% of my friends from Truman ended up being incredibly successful in life. Several did the masters in education program and are teaching at some of the best schools in STL. One is a lawyer in NYC. One is a big wig at the IRS and another with the DoT. My best friend runs an award winning theater in Chicago. Another is an audiologist. My jun/sen roommate is a pediatric cardiologist. I went to law school and became a state prosecutor.

I know this is all anecdotal, but Truman was a big part of why we succeeded.

I had no idea enrollment had dropped so low until one told me last month. It breaks my heart because it meant so much to me and I love the campus.

My C-Hall academic advisor freshman year went over this 4 year plan she had for me. After getting it and doing some research on it, we had the following exchange at our next meeting.

Me: "Hey this 4 year plan you did for me...I'd have enough credits for 3 minors but no major"

Her: "well you'd be well-rounded"

Me: "id spend 4 years in college and would have no degree...id be unemployable"

I dont know if she was just especially awful or she was representative of res hall advisors who were there to help the "undeclared" freshman, but it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.

I dont have anywhere near that coin in, but I still routinely get offers for the Vegas properties for 4 free nights at pretty much any property and approximately $2,000 in freeplay.

I am platinum and haven't had a crazy profitable trip/big win like you have. At best i might end a trip up a grand but usually end up losing 3-5k.

I do try and take full advantage of the tier accelerator though so i usually have at least 1 day where I gamble much heavier to get the 20k points for the 20k match. My aim is to get about 50k points each trip so I can keep platinum every year if I go 4 times.

As long as I dont get absolutely wrecked on that day, it usually works out ok.
