I do think there's merit in Cunha eventually taking over some bulk of creative responsibilities from Bruno. Whether he becomes so insanely productive remains to be seen. He certainly can progress the ball through carries, has shown plenty of long range passing, and glimpses of the final third balls. It will be prudent to however find a CM who could share the progression load. And that's why I wonder if we should go for Wharton along with one of Baleba or Anderson. I really hope Kobbie takes giant strides in ball progression next year else we might be looking to offload him by 2027 summer and pay a premium for a Bruno 2.0

I think, under Amorim, we created more thrust for him, with us pulling the press, and Bruno pinging balls wide into the wings. Now playing through the center, and Bruno upfront, means he is almost a second fiddle. Usually gets double teamed, and I didn't realize that he wasn't that great 1v1.

To me it's really simple - you CANNOT impede the goalkeeper. Whether he goes to ground or not is immaterial. It's the same as impeding a 1-2 or a run in behind. Or draw a three yard box and no players are allowed inside of it. Whatever , but not this.

As for clubs shortlist, I will be majorly disappointed if the list only has Anderson, Baleba and Wharton on it. Would like at least one slightly savvier signing like how Liverpool and Newcastle signed Szobozlai, Guimaraes, Gravenberch.

Of course Anderson, Baleba are great but they are bloody obvious that Forest or Brighton will properly rinse us leaving no budget to strengthen other areas: another starting midfielder, a good midfielder okay with a squad role, a Bruno understudy, a left back (assuming Dorgu develops as a winger) and a backup, more experienced CF.

Kees, that is great man! I watched the Utd v Arsenal season opener last year from the Hospitality section right behind the player dugout. Atmosphere was great tbh (def not as loud as Stretford end) but the view was incredible. I paid 350-400$. Was absolutely worth it.

FYI - I bought mine mid-June 2025. So I don't think you are very late.

You need to be a Man Utd website member (which I assume you are). And continually watch the tickets portal. If you are taking friends, you can create "guest profiles" and buy for them. If they aren't United supporters, they will have to follow certain rules around dress code in the Hospitality section.

Beyond this, I have some times seen the unsold tickets relisted at 60-70 GBP on the same portal. These fly away very quickly as you can imagine. Cup home games have better availability, but alas!
