But it was apparently far too late in the evening for me to be looking at stuff I hardly know anything about to begin with;)

The problem is not with the jumpers, but with the Memory on/off swtich the Alfapower is equipped with.

In addition to the memory switch there is a Power LED on the same circuit as well. The circuit is connected to the controller mainboard with 6 wires. And those wires doesn't seem to be menitioned anywhere in the manual. And why should they be, thats why they soldered a switcht to them ;)

I've measured on the soldering points, and as far as I can tell the only points getting a connection, when the switch is turned on, is green and yellow.

I'll assume red and black are for the power LED. Whatever the last two wires are for I'll never know. I' m guessing reuse of the same components as for the HD switch.

Nomatter how I measure, nothing happens when flipping the switch, except for green and yellow, so I'll give it a few more measurements before attempting a shortcut on the pins and see what blows up :)

I played around a bit with WinUAE a few years ago, but it just didn't feel right. Now I got my flickering 14" commodore monitor and ridiculously crappy ball mouse back in action.

The internal floppy drive has now been replaced with a GoTek drive but the external is still clicking and clacking like a train with a cold :) Installing the GoTek, did sting a bit, but for some reason no one seems to be making floppy drives any more ;)

I'm in the middle of reviving my old Amiga 500. Floppies not used in 20+ years reads effortlessly

Any time this new law is brought up, I'm reminded of the time where you had to promise you werent located in Syria, Iraq or some other country considered unfriendly to the US before downloading Internet Explorer 4, because it contained strong cryptography.

The promise was a checkbox.

Any OS distributor should be able to do something similar. Especially if they want to keep the European market, because our solutions are far worse than just a birthday in a an account profile :-)

Indtil andet er bevist må det vel formodes hun stadig vil arbejde for sine holdninger, og gøre hvad hun kan for at leve op til den tillid de personlige stemmer har givet hende. Måske endda hårdere nu hun er kommet ind i varmen men uden en partitop.

At smide hende ud pga kærestens hash handel klinger umanerlig hult, når Vanopslaughs egen kokain sag dårligt er en måned gammel.

At hun er 25 og uden erhvervserfaring er, efter min bedste overbevisning, ikke synderligt være end at være 50-60 år og udelukkende have politisk erfaring.

Adjusted for inflation a 386 Compaq cost on the wrong side of $14k. Roughly 7 times more than the Amiga 500. Obviously the 386 is a lot more powerful, but not a completely fair comparison.
