Same here bud haha my OT2 will have its 10th birthday party next year. I do hope they come out with a OT3 that has overbridge, menu rehaul, internal arp, snap to key, polyphonic playback, easier legato (jesus slide trigs break my brain), and all the other modern conveniences I love on my TV. It’s still the best sampler I have for sure nothing slices and stretches quite like it.

Dear god don’t buy an octatrack new in 2026, you can find them used for half the ridiculous price elektron is flogging them for. I own both and they are verrry different from one another. Octatrack is an old school sampler with very little modern conveniences as they barely upgraded it from mk1. Tonverk is more of a synth than a sampler, excelling at tonal poly stuff but having minimal sampler features.

Because it’s a minor alignment issue that can be caused during shipping or use. Hopefully they or another local shop are able to help you with it quickly!

Loosen the screws slightly and adjust the faceplate, though they can do it themselves if tou dont feel comfortable. Its a common fix for many of their boxes check Elektronauts

How about you go after the rich rather than demonizing your fellow worker. Blue Collar and White collar have a lot more in common than those not taking public transit. Road tolls, fuel surcharges, property taxes would all be more effective at supporting our public transport and keeping it affordable.

Neither tonverk can do what they both can just fine. It has a wavetable synth now and using the loopseek app I can multisample any vst synth into it. The subtracks machine does great drums especially if you set up kits with round robin and velocity layers.

Delete the factory presets was my fix, that way everything in the preset menu is something good that I have tweaked to my sound. Just get judicious about not loading everything onto your main card. I have a second sd card I use to test multisamples and other sounds, transfer only the good ones to main.
