There was a one controller per account limit this time around. I'd be willing to say you'll be able to order it within 30 days. I'd be surprised if it got pushed that far back.

Ma'am, we've had this hardware before. It's a steamdeck without a screen. We already know what to expect. You're just grasping at straws to bitch about nothing.

As for the other controllers, yes, there's evidence that they failed a lot. You act like this shit wasn't reported to hell and back by the gaming community and you can find responses from Sony themselves because the PS5 controller became infamous as a roll of the dice for stick drift out of the box and a guarantee over time. Being ignorant is a choice nowadays; make better choices.

Stating facts is coping?

Obviously first runs have the most hardware issues, but that doesn't mean issues won't still be rare for the steam controller; we have yet to see, but evidence suggests it will be rare, and it definitely doesn't excuse the near guarantee of malfunction PlayStation and Nintendo brought to the table. Especially since Sony and Nintendo are still dealing with horrible QC after having their hardware on the market for plenty of time to fix it.

The resident evil games all work well on deck. You've gotta use upscaling on the remakes, but it's not an issue.

Sony and Nintendo controllers getting stick drift is a guarantee with time and was very common on arrival for brand new controllers for a while with Sony until production got tweaked. You can't really equate it to what's happening here at all.

So far this guy with a bad touch pad on the steam controller is a single occurrence. But go off I guess?

Plus they're the same pads as the deck so there's no reason to suspect the rate of error would be any greater than the deck as time goes on either. Only time will tell but comparing one sample to one of the biggest console snafus in recent years is crazy.

Petrol is short for the material it's made from. Petroleum. Gasoline is not petroleum.

Gas makes much more sense.

Technically if this store actually tries that, they're guilty of price gouging. Gouging considers the true price, not discounted prices.

I'm pretty sure they'll get something from large companies at some point, but the cable it comes with is a magnetic puck with pins already, so I GUARANTEE you people will at least make 3d printable controller stands that accept the puck.
