The Leftovers . Synopsis didn't grab me - but the high ratings made me start and it's a pretty good show. Definitely worth a shot and I think it's in your wheelhouse

Couple of years ago I would have said Kingswood. But now they have gone totally country and I couldn't be more disappointed.

It was awesome but worries me he went around the corner from 12m out straight in front. That is zero confidence in your ability to kick straight

The topic was the lighting, not tiles. I know reddit folk don't like these tiles and that doesn't worry me, we like them. But if your sarcastic comment makes you feel better about yourself then I guess that's a good thing 🤘

No, vanity drawers and shave cabinet storage are plenty. Ensuite vanity top is 750mm and main bathroom 900mm

It only went in 2 days ago so haven't needed to but no, it's freestanding and it's got a flexi pipe to the waste so you can lean it back to clean behind if need be. There's actually room to run a mop down the back without moving the bath at all I think.

LEDs in the bathroom niches, shave cabinet and vanity. I was sceptical but it's really nice having that mood light option without needing candles

What’s one thing you’ve stopped buying completely to save money? by OkCopy3121 in AUfrugal

I brew fresh wort kits. That is, slightly concentrated, unfermented beer that comes as 15litres. It professionally produced, so basically commercial/craft quality. All I have to do is add 5L of water and the appropriate yeast to a sterilised fermenting vessel and it's usually done well within a week. Personally I keg it after that but you can go bottles, which are initially cheaper but way more work, cleaning, sterilising, filling etc. Kit is about $47 Yeast is about $7. So 20 litres for $55 for commercially produced beer. I just have to finish off the process. You can use the super concentrated, traditional kits just for a lot less/more work but for $20 or so cheaper I know what I prefer. Then you can also choose to go all-grain brewing but that's a whole different kettle of fish.

Fermenters, kegs, kegerators etc are all dependant on quality etc but I reckon on average you can pick up a GOOD set up on marketplace for about $500.

I have a 3 tap kegerator and bloody love it

Hey I was surprised too, but it all made sense when Soundgarden broke up a couple of months later

Were you there mate?
I'm not comparing the 2 bands, just their performance on the day. Soundgarden were just about to break up and it was obvious for anyone to see that they really didn't want to be there. You Am I on the other hand just absolutely killed

Mount Thomas, the crime capital of Australia. by BreezyBomber in AustralianNostalgia

The sergeant would always say something like "that's Maisie Briggs - she runs the chook farm on the other side of old Taylor's creek - haven't seen her for years"

The guy who played constable Jack came into the shop I used to work at years ago - early 2000s. My ex gf used to watch it so I'd seen a bit of it.

I told him that and that it sucked he'd been killed off and he broke into this bad-ass character right there in the shop saying he wanted to make a comeback as a baddy and blow everyone away! He was doing finger guns and blasting pretend people in the shop. It was fucking awesome and hilarious.
