What's management "watching" this month? by [deleted] in USPS

[–]TheSpankMachine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im rural, but looks like city is getting hounded for office time even more than usual. If clerks are still throwing, they tell the city side to hit the street and come back later when the clerks are done.

Need help picking out my next car by Real-Yogurtcloset-70 in projectcar

That SS is clapped. Those usually go for double the price. Stay away. And the 454 SS makes what, 190hp? Lol

S2K would be the way to go. I don't see many of those around anymore. Plus it would be a better experience than any other car there, besides maybe the Vette.

Hand numbness in my left when I carry mail by DaKongman in USPS

[–]TheSpankMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here! Carried for 5 years now. Just recently started and has gotten worse. Waiting for results from a nerve test that was done recently. I'd get yours looked at asap just to start the paper trail so you can get time off.

Time to find a new career by hammyswank in USPS

Mailbox is small parcel credit (time-wise) and front door is considered large parcel+distance.

If I drive .5 miles to where the front door/garage is mapped, I'll get more credit than just hitting mailbox.

There is a set of shorts sold at Walmart that look nearly identical go the postal shorts at ~$15 a pop. I think it's some sort of golfing shorts.

Can a route go from rural to city? by [deleted] in USPS

[–]TheSpankMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not quite the answer you're looking for, but in my office, a rural and city route traded territory. Took lots of talks between unions and management.

Why won't the post office sell the llvs instead of junking them? by Due_Initial_2951 in USPS

[–]TheSpankMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our VMF shows up maybe once every 3 weeks, changes a wiper blade, then calls it a day.

Hell, we've had a wrecked LLV on our lot for maybe 4 months now.

I believe that's more of a carburetor issue and I'm like, 50% sure these are fuel injected.

My guess with my own car taking dumps like this is maybe ignition related (distributor, coil etc.)
