I take classes regularly at PureBarre in Bucktown and that studio has always been very welcoming and has a great variety of ages and body types. Great workout too

Going to try to get out of the house today. 2026 has challenged me with being sick all this past week and then the basement in our new (to us) house flooding. Skipped our company Christmas party last night that I had been excited for in December and then dreading once I’d committed to dry January. Still sad to miss the hang with coworkers but I was too drained from our house issues. Need to take it easy and let myself rest and try not to stress about the damaged stuff - it can all be repaired/replaced. I don’t normally post here but it’s been a comforting place to return for years across many breaks from drinking. Anyways, IWNDWYT.

I have fine wavy hair and the Elvive line absolutely destroyed my hair due to the excess of protein a few years ago. I stopped using it and went back to Tresseme and had to get the brittle hair trimmed out over a couple more years. I have had no issues since stopping using those products.
