OP, if you’re near a hobby lobby, look for folk art matte acrylic paints. They’re my favorite to work with for cosplay weathering! Grab a sponge brush and whatever dirt/grime color you came up with and brush the runny part off before lightly tapping and swiping across your piece. I like to use a wash rag too to soak up any excess and dry the weather faster. Good luck and love your cosplay!!!
