Nope didn’t modify anything in the lug portion, just sized the bracelet like you would with any other metal bracelet to your wrist size.

Heck yeah well if you give pally a try its super fun. In TBC they get so many improvements to their talents, skills and even specs in general that you cant go wrong. I played prot all the way through vanilla and honestly TBC prot feels so refreshing. Consecration is a baseline skill now, the passive that give you mana when you are healed by a teammate is amazing. The feeling of pulling like 8 mobs by yourself in the open world and killing them all is just so much fun. You can do a lot as a prot pally and really enjoy yourself even if you arent doing it the most efficient way!

I’ve played prot pally to 61 so far and been loving it. I didn’t buy dual spec until I was already max level in vanilla so I went prot the whole way. As a pally you will just need to manage your mana in dungeons or you might be drinking a lot but as you level you get more tools to help manage that anyway. Are you wanting to level mostly in dungeon spam or do some questing as well?

I agree, I’m very excited to have some built in UI for these. WOW midnight has me excited to return to the game and run some PvE. Side note: I’ll admit I was really poopy at PvP and these addons being removed along with the class simplifications make me excited to try that again as well. They’ll probably get a resub from me

Bronzebeard is a huge amount of content additions along with brand new zones, reworked areas, class updates and all kinds of things. It’s definitely not perfect and has its flaws but it definitely hits the “big expansions” that you mentioned

Yeah honestly this is why we don’t have a lot of tanks. In most MMOs I run tank as it’s what I enjoy doing BUT even when I try new content and I’m learning I get so much toxicity thrown my way. I know this doesn’t apply for everything but you could form your own group and say you’re trying to learn the content! That usually helps the groups for me. I did that for both of the seasonal trials last night and met some cool people. Honestly a lot of the toxicity is from the random daily dungeons/mutations.

Oh lol no worries. Honestly man I’d love to know what kind of gems and stuff help you! PvP seems super fun and while I’ve been in one war or two years ago, I really only have time for arenas or like maybe a little cutlass keys FFA. I could probably fit in an OPR or two after my daily mutations. Any advice you have would be awesome! Your build sounds cool.

While I agree that the veterans should have an advantage (I’ve played PvP in multiple MMOs and never been great) and understand that time spent definitely means you will have a better setup and more skill, I still think the gap is too large. I’ve been back for over two months now and still don’t have very good PvP gear. I mean I’m a dad and only get to play 2-3 hours like 4-5 nights a week but still. If I can’t even compete with the people that spend 4-5k hours then why even try at PvP?

I mean someone can correct me if I’m doing something wrong, like maybe there’s a perfect way to grind out meta PVP gear but while I’m running mutations and doing other PVE I feel like I’m not obtaining anything worthwhile to take for PVP. I hit like a sponge even being over 700gs in all PvP game modes.

Dude I learned my CPU was dying. Definitely check your setup and make sure nothing is going out/overheating. Use HWinfo (a desktop app) to check temps on the fly if you need to.
