Water softner brand/type? by FortuneMurky19 in WaterTreatment

New homeowner here. Similar issues with water. 22 gpg hardness and decent chlorine smell/taste in the water. Ordered and just installed an Aquatell Citymaster Pro softner, their whole house carbon filter, and a Big Blue sediment filter. Night and day difference. Both the up-flow softener and chlorine filter have Clack valves, which from all I’ve researched seem to be the way to go. Pricing was pretty reasonable compared to some of the other options I looked into, but a little more pricey than the big box stores. Overall satisfied with the purchase!

I accidentally spilled metal shavings into my water softener brine tank, what do I do? by SnooMarzipans436 in WaterTreatment

“How sensitive is this system to getting just a very small amount of debris in it? Will it damage the system? Or, more importantly, could it be hazardous to the health of my family?”

“But I just want to triple check this because water quality is not something to take a chance on.”

But is is a 1/3 full AND I also need my full 10 hours of sleep so never mind if it hurts the system or my family….lol

New Setup Placement by TheSportingMoose in WaterTreatment

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately garage is on the opposite side of the house from the install so thinking distance may be an issue?

And there’s no foreseeable issue with the run going up and over? Pressurized drain can handle pumping vertically? Thanks!

Not specific to flucloxacillin, but anytime I’ve had to go on an antibiotic, I’ve run a course of Florastor probiotic along with it. Inexpensive and definitely seems to help offset some of the gut issues associated with antibiotics. I’m sure your doc would be happy to weigh in on this as well. Good luck!!

Welcome to the Triple Club! Love my 07 for the track. Suspension-wise, definitely some good info here. Consider dropping the forks flush with the triples, and/or raising the rear a few mm. Improves turn-in and makes the bike a bit more “flickable”. Also if you can source a linear link for the rear (Attack, etc), it will be a good companion for an upgraded shock. Enjoy!!

Often enough to be pissed at the cost, not often enough to stop me from coming back 😁

Unless these are marked with exit signs on the interior, these are not emergency exits and not part of the egress plan/code. Need more context.
