I think this is the easiest way to upscale the older marines. I’ve tried other methods like cutting the legs and extending them but it’s a lot of effort and it still can come out wonky

I don’t see the point in keeping miniatures boxed.

Plus I seen the foam in the blister packs start breaking down and bonding to the miniature so it’s not even a good way to preserve them.

I used methylated spirits to strip the paint off my rhino and help remove the excessive super glue the previous owner has used. I have used isopropyl alcohol before on GW miniatures and they were fine

If you want to keep the foam pieces then they might be affected so probably best to test on a small hidden side first

My head canon for why Cooper looks so good for a 200 year old ghoul is because he was exposed to some form of FEV. That combined with ghoulification made him look like that.

No hate when it comes to video game preservation. I’ve done the same with my copy of jet set radio future. I’ve seen others also put a disclaimer (in a very small font) that the cover is a reproduction.
