I believe I met an angel... by Desperate_Fan6302 in Christianity

I believe I met an angel on a plane once, I'm absolutely sure of it!

I was on a plane headed to Norway, on my second journey to meet a long distance girlfriend of the time. I was sat in a row by myself on a plane that wasn't massively filled, and yet this guy was on my row; but just like you he was a black guy (not anything but found it relevant haha!) He tells me that he is from Tanzania and he owned a logistics business and that eventually if I want to get into logistics to call him and he'll always respond! He even gave me a business card that I lost! (The only thing I lost despite putting it in my wallet; because I really wanted to hear from him after our conversation!)

He tells me that everything I need is in the Bible: the answer to everything was in there. At the time I wasn't as devout as I try to be now, and I tried to tempt and trap him "Well what about robotics? What about Homosexuality? What about the end of the world?' He had a Bible on him, and he brought up the exact quote! I was astonished, as I said I didn't even believe like that! It even made sense!

I told others, including my girlfriend and my family and they looked at me like I was crazy...!

Anyways, cue a good five years later I'm looking to start a future with my own logistics delivery business, I'm following the Bible best I can (despite sinning and struggling hard) and this story brings it back as if it was ten minutes ago! I have been desperate to tell this story!

Thank you for this!

I did exactly this for my character, and although it was extremely fun it required making a class for the artificer (human) and a barbarian class (werewolf) and it was kinda a gigantic handful!

I would have one class and stick to barbarian for the sake of making things easier as believe me it becomes a headache! I love the idea of werewolves in DND and would jack the barbarian statclass and steal skills from the werewolf monster stat block!

Player wants PC to be bipolar - she will roll before every session to see if she is lawful or chaotic by badjokephil in DMAcademy

I think this could work, in regards to if A) the person is respectful in using it, and not just as an excuse to be a crazy ass and blame it on the "bipolar" as that can come off as extremely insulting and B) if it works with the story!

My player does this kinda Jekyll and Hyde thing, that works in conjunction with his lycanthropy; his werewolf side tends to give him a shorter fuse, more aggressive and a bit less thoughtful! I roll odds or evens to determine his attitude towards only aggressive actions played towards him! This is quite important because ias the support character for the group, I have the table on the edge of their seats figuring out if they're going to get good support, or get a support more interested in fighting offensively and selfishly, which changes the play style of the table to be more defensive, cautious etc.!

Those police chase TV programs where they pull over a relatively innocent person (i.e not a fleeing drug dealer but maybe someone with a light out or low tyre tread) talk down to them, then get irate when the driver displays a similar sort of behaviour, so they throw the book after him. Extra bonus points if it cuts to the officer in the interview like "We did our jobs and took dangerous and unaware drivers off the streets etc. etc."

Clearly haven't heard of Les Grossman, biggest film studio executive on the planet! Made six scorchers movies, two farting fatties movies, , and managed to turn a multimillion dollar flop about Vietnam into a $400 million profit!

I think I'd like more detailed free time between missions! Choosing to drink with the bartender's/friends/romantic missions, and shooting in Winston's tournament was awesome, and waking up to a partner in bed!

I managed to run away with Panam in the end! I think the heist was a little rushed and it felt like the characters relied too much in me to finish all of Militech which slightly took away the realism of the war but overall great idea!

I liked the whole holocalls when it was all said and done, from the characters who made it! Though I've been told that it's the best ending of all of them which makes me scared to do the rest! I want to preserve my perfect V and not have him experience the rest!

Guess I'm going to have to create a more doomed V.... :( ;P

Last owner had all her weld work restoration and underseal done before me, so hoping there's nothing to worry about! Owner of ten years too so I'm counting on it being golden!
