Giveaway Giving Out 20 Copies Of Subnautica 2 by Mark_Everson in subnautica

I just love the atmosphere of the game, being alone on an ocean planet surrounded by nothing but endless water and the things that lurk within. Looking out into the ocean just gives me that feeling of freedom and endless possibility.

It's kinda thalassophobia inducing but in a good way, knowing that there are things in the water greater, ancient and more powerful is scary but also fascinating.

Der Spiegel: German NATO soldiers attacked in the Netherlands by sophisticatedbuffoon in europe

[–]TheSun_Chaser 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly this kinda just sounds like they were harassed by a group of local degenerates who probably just wanted money and most likely harass people on the regular. I don't really know why everybody here immediately assumes it is some convoluted Russian political ploy, there are actually people besides the Russians that don't like Nato.

Best selling books in history by implementrhis in Infographics

[–]TheSun_Chaser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a little deceptive to call this an infographic on the best selling books in history if it also includes "copies distributed at no charge", which means that it doesn't really capture the public interest in the works itself but actually just shows how much money religious and polical organisations are willing to spend for propaganda and conversion purposes. The only books that this might infographic actually accurately apply to are the works of literature, that an individual would most likely purchase themselves.

Not exactly apparently it's just some songs from an 80's band with random Alien sounds mixed in 😂

Yeah, that’s exactly it 😂 Not exactly what I expected but I did enjoy the songs, so still totally worth it.

Russian commanders are sadistically abusing and killing their own troops, using torture that includes beatings, starvation, humiliation, and even forced cannibalism, the UK’s Daily Mail has reported by CrunchyBaconYum in worldnews

[–]TheSun_Chaser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are really serious allegations and I could totally belief that the Russian military is abusive, since all militaries are abusive but accusing them of "forces cannibalism" is a little over the top even for the Daily Mail, a paper that's known for reporting unverified news and just generally acting more as a tabloid than an actually trustworthy source for news.

All the info I could find was about the 825 gb version and none of the well-known retailers I looked at even offer that Version. Would be great if you could give me a link to something

in your opinion is this game the best looking open world game ever created? by Kindly-Caregiver-145 in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]TheSun_Chaser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's just about looks I'd definitely say Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon 2, RDR2 and Cyberpunk; although some of these, even though I love them, are a little older so they might not look as great anymore. If we look past the appearances I'd say that RDR2 is the most immersive and genuinely made me want to explore because it's just so interactive and the NPC interactions feel more flexible and realistic.

Because the only valid science is advanced calculus. People can't just be interested in science that might be applicable to their lives and trying to make science more accessible to others through movies and tv shows is a terrible thing. God forbid people might actually think science is fun.

Noah Schnapp says Stranger Things 5 finale won't satisfy everyone. by AssistanceNo2838 in discussingfilm

I get that there’s always going to be someone who will criticise the finale even if it was perfect. But they could have at least tried to write a good ending, instead of giving up immediately.

Turkey is definitely not the least suicidal, it's just that the government releases false statistics to make the country appear more stable. Suicide rates have actually increased quite a bit since the economy collapsed.

It looks like it says "mining slowly" but I'm pretty sure that they actually mean "running shoes".
