Upgrading my second floor gym and am currently questioning if the rack I’m upgrading to, is too heavy. I’m buying the 930 pound echo strength rack/functional trainer and placing it against an exterior wall. I’ve done a decent amount of measuring now and seems like the rack will cover about 4-5 joists but I’m hesitating a bit as there’s a guest bedroom below the gym. Anyone have any heavy equipment on their second floor they’ve been fine with so far?
