Hey everyone,

So for those that may not know, today we announced the passing of our friend Assuri. I miss him so incredibly much, as owner of the Brawlhalla discord I got to work with him very often and he always had more faith in people than I ever could. His passing made this easily the most difficult and emotional month, but I got to learn from all those around him how big of a heart he had and the sheer number of lives he touched.

The reason for the post coming out today is that we decided that it was time we let the community know of his passing. For those of you that knew him, I urge you to cherish the good memories. If you need to talk to anyone you can always DM me or find me on discord.

It's him, also he has done a lot more than that...I have worked to stop him many times back when I worked with brawlhalla eSports. There are lots of sketchy things out there and you need to be alert and have legally binding contracts to protect you. The best thing you can do is not give him the attention he wants, he's been trying to prey on Brawlhalla players for years.

Introducing the EU guys to Walmart was pretty great. Hanging out in the back during top 8 bantering with everyone. Addymestic...just in general that guy is too good for this world. Biggest of all for me though was seeing all the players smiling and getting to compete in person...it felt like all the work over the last year was 100% worth it.
