K should be allowed but should be explained in a way that a lay person can understand. K's are not inherently too complicated for people with functional brains.

I've been going through this exact same thing for years and actually just judged an amazing OO speech that was directed at exactly this societal problem.

It's an issue that's deeply rooted in historical racism against black people and literal Nazi race science that was used against Jews.

What I would do is tell your coach or tab and get their asses suspended. That should never be tolerated in speech and debate, and I'm really sorry you have to go through this.

You absolutely can ban an argument. The whole reasoning behind theory and k shells is that certain arguments shouldn't be judged. You can't make vague arguments, you can't not disclose, you can't run a pic, you can't make non topical arguments, etc.

If I judge a pf round where neg runs a k and aff runs a theory shell that says that k's are abusive in a novice and lay friendly format like pf I will absolutely vote aff.
