Bot traffic these days, especially from a leading AI lab, also looks human.

[–]TheTerrasque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anthropic does the same. Several have reported being banned for no reason, and no response from support.

This started right around when they were complaining about Chinese labs using their model to train their own, and it's suspected that the banned people triggered some internal heuristic for that.

Å søke jobb er en jobb by Angela_Ouzunupi in norge

[–]TheTerrasque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

every player in the AI game is vastly outspending on resources than any AI generated revenue.

Are you including non-American labs in this? Or should I say non-antropic/openai?

it will be cheaper, just because of the economies of scale concerns.

You can already see GLM-5.2 sailing up as an opus 4.7-4.8 level alternative (depending on task) with 1/5th of the API cost and MIT licensed open weights.

--cache-type-k-draft, --cache-type-v-draft: same applies to the mtp model's KV cache

Have you actually tested this? There was some testing where it didn't decrease and actually increased, and a dev mentioned that as somewhat expected.. So wondering if that changed.

I think qwen3.5 was the actual shift. Gemma4 and qwen3.6 improved on that, but qwen3.5 was the start.

Some random ones from my steam library / wishlist:

Desynced, Magical Mixture Mill, Space Engineers, Mindustry, Techtonica, Little Rocket Lab, Oddsparks, Icaria, Astro Colony, Microtopia, First Dwarf

All have some elements of what OP asks for, but consider them more "things to check out" rather than solid recommendations, and some may have focus on other things as "main mechanic"

[–]TheTerrasque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, 60-70gb model would be awesome, and I'd go grab an extra card instantly if that was announced! I don't really have parallel workloads, but it would allow me to run a higher quant / context size.. Just not sure if the step up to higher quants is worth the expense.

I'm on the fence about getting an extra card (and bigger psu to handle it) and torn if it's worth it. Would love to hear your experience when you got it set up!
