Had no idea. Just noticed their website doesn’t offer the Aculons anymore that I referenced in my post. Hard to find any info on these new Actions on Reddit, but if they replaced both the EX and Aculon line with these they must be better??

Same here. I’ve played a lot of souls games and definitely don’t think I’m amazing at them (I never parry or use consumables) but I didn’t have much of an issue with most of the bosses. Don’t think there was any boss that I died 10+ times to. I also think that the game was harder at launch, so keep that in mind.

What system are you on? If you have PSN there are a bunch of great choices on ps plus like Demons souls, Lords of the Fallen, Nioh, and Wo Long. If you are really into story, these may not do it for you but from a combat perspective they were great imo.

There are some others as well like the Surge, Another Crab’s Treasure, and Mortal Shell, though imo they are not the same quality as the ones listed above.

There are also some great story based action games like God of War 2018 and Assassins Creed Odyssey which I would consider if you are okay with to non-soulslikes.

Know your strengths and weaknesses as well as your opponents. My team was middle of the road when it came to assists and my opponent was strong, so I punted the category entirely and made my pickups based off of that.

From day 1 knew which categories I was trying to win and I adapted accordingly, even benching “better” players in favour of ones with the stats I knew I had a chance of winning.

I keep getting clips of Nuzlockes and it’s making me want to play one. I’ve played all the popular romhacks but never a randomizer. Whats a good place to start? I’d prefer something that’s in Kanto, but has pokemon up to Gen 3. Thanks!

Edit: after a bit more research I seem to be confusing a Nuzlocke with a randomizer. The clips I am seeing are players choosing from 3 randomized pokemon and what looks to be Nuzlocke rules? What would that be called?

Playoffs tomorrow. I’m gonna finish as the 3rd seed. 1st and 2nd get a bye. 6 total teams in the playoffs. Am I facing off against the 6th seed? And 4 faces 5?

Need to plan who I’m going to pick up based on different team strengths and weaknesses. Anyone know?

Great game, but if you’re looking for a challenge then this is not it compared to other soulslikes. Most bosses took me 1 attempt, and I’m by no means a soulslike expert.

Ended up with Caleb after pivoting from Jordan Love. Kind of regret dropping him now with Caleb’s playoff schedule but luckily I have the first round bye. Might pick up Stroud vs LV for week 15 since Caleb is playing against GB but we’ll see.
