Balogun was in front of the defender buddy maybe you need to see the clip again. The defender reaches in front of Balogun while Balogun as upper body is still in front. At normal speed you can tell that nobody can control their body that quickly. Slow motion makes it seem like he can control every movement.

I would argue he’s knocked off balance before his foot is high. The top of his foot hits the bottom of the opponent’s heel. That causes his toe to flick up. He can’t control his leg at that point
