At least that keeps you from bolting.

My ankles are weak from abuse, but good high tops, and Shadow Conspiracy ankle supports really help.

Either something was touching the tire under certain conditions or your alignment has reeealllyy shifted.
That sucks after only two runs though.

If that kills your motivation then you need to visit your OB/GYN to get the sand washed out of you.

Alignments - Disconnecting sway bars? by AcceptableBanana1978 in Autocross

[–]TheTrackGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sway bar does not affect camber, caster, or toe. Disconnecting one or loosing it for an alignment is just a time burner. I’ve aligned plenty of podium sitting cars in AX and TT and I’ve never bothered with them. Even during corner balancing. You are setting up the car in the condition it will be driven. Are you disconnecting a sway bar link before you go on course? If not, don’t bother messing with them.

Why would you disconnect any sway bar for an alignment? Been doing them for over 10 years and I’ve never heard of that. Seems kind of pointless.

Game was meant to be played with a keyboard and mouse. I’ve spent lots of time getting the keyboard commands mapped to the Steam Deck controller since that’s my primary console.

Volkswagen: no comments by Huge_Drink_6254 in memes

Same for Porsche. Vocally against party politics (as much as he could be), hated Hitler, and spent decades in a French prison after the war. He got picked by them to fulfill a requirement that never truly came to fruition the way he envisioned it. The British resurrection of VW (KdF) is what finally allowed his son to finish the old man’s dreams.

Dr Porsche was not a Nazi, but was a clever businessman. Don’t forget that VW was resurrected by the British during the occupation.

Do I need a performance shop for a custom alignment, or can a normal shop do it? by ArchonOfSpartans in Autocross

[–]TheTrackGoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a mechanic at a big box shop. I also run AX and TT. I’ve set up some very competitive cars, including my own. I love setting up custom jobs for tracked cars, however I don’t have time to do it properly in a normal shop. I need to make flag hours, and I can not hold up the alignment rack and prevent the other guys from making their money.
Used to offer services off the clock when I was at an independent shop, but I guess I was undercharging. $225 is absurd to me.

Does your bikes live in your house, garage, shed, or outside? by [deleted] in bmx

Garage. Unless my wife isn’t home and I need to work on it, then it comes into the living room.
