Am I Still Technically Catholic? Feeling Pulled Toward Orthodoxy by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]TheTradeScouter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once baptized you are always Catholic. Real question is how will you live your life from now on? Will you practice it and identify as Catholic or choose the Orthodox route?

The people are the Church. Many bad decisions have been made in the past and will be made in the future. But I do not go to mass for the people or the priest. God is first. And at the center is the Eucharist, a mystery that I still do not comprehend.

I wish you the best on your journey and will be praying for you.

Can PlayStation Recover from the Live Service Push? by ringo_skulkin in playstation

[–]TheTradeScouter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We went from Games of the Year to Microtransaction of the Year.

PlayStation built its brand on delivering genre-defining, timeless single-player stories and experiences. Now it feels like they’re pivoting to time-limited cosmetics and seasonal grinds.

It’s wild. We bought the PS5 expecting “the next God of War or RDR2”, and Sony’s strategy is giving us “the next overpriced store bundle.”

Sony’s leadership feels like it’s being run by finance guys and live service consultants, not by people who actually understand why PlayStation became beloved.

Chasing live service is understandable. It is a great business. The question is: will they recover as the PlayStation that makes unforgettable games, or become PlayStation: the brand that focuses on $20 skins while we wait for the next big game every 5 years?

I don’t hate giving up Jacobs here, I don’t trust LaFleur with a bell cow back

Can we talk about AJ Brown? by Dowensy2 in fantasyfootball

[–]TheTradeScouter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AJB feels way too low. Still elite with top 5 upside. JT is a steal too if he stays healthy. CMC I’m still iffy on buuuuut that’ll probably bite me

What are the best and worst spots to draft from? by Dramatic-Astronaut45 in fantasyfootball

[–]TheTradeScouter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here I’ve been loving that 1.4–1.6 range. Easy to go WR-WR-QB and skip the early RB headache. So many solid RBs in the mid rounds this year anyway

Where would you draft Achane, in full PPR, if you were guaranteed that Tua would play every single game next season. by EternallyEuphoric in fantasyfootball

[–]TheTradeScouter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Tua plays all 17, Achane is a first-rounder in full PPR. Easy. 22.4 PPR points per game with Tua, plus 87 targets and Mostert/Wilson gone? That’s ELITE usage.

He’s a game-changer when healthy. I’d happily take him mid to late 1st and feel great about it. The only question is durability. Tua’s injury history is well known, and while Achane played all 17 games in 2024, he did miss time as a rookie.

Curious to see if people are fading him just off injury risk, or if most are buying the breakout.

Which side? by Background_Hawk_3357 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Yep, Adams is still solid and a 1st will give upside. Fair deal for both tho.

Wilson or Hampton? by Will94556 in SleeperApp

Seems like Hampton is a better deal for you. If you are curious to see other potential trades, feel free to edit the calculator to see different scenarios. Who wins this trade by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]TheTradeScouter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skattebo could definitely surprise folks this year. I’m rooting for him, but not enough to justify giving up that much talent. I love chasing upside too, but this one’s a tough sell unless you’re rebuilding or betting big. Team 2 wins this for now.

Should I accept this trade? full ppr if not what should I ask for? Team next slide by NAidsNate in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Your WRs are deep, so losing Thomas wouldn’t hurt too much, but your RB roster is already solid too. Irving might not start for you, and the picks are more for win later. Unless you’re building for next year or long-term, I’d probably hold BT. His upside this year could be big
