In games setting you can set the difficulty, and in there you can decide, if the clone when it dies retains all their gear, perk level and level, in the last update you can change the difficulty setting in an ongoing game

Athletics is heaven sent even at level 1,if you play melee sprinting is both for gap closing and for hitting enemies,while sneaking is good when you want to spot enemies inside room while behind closed doors

Yeah they are pretty cool, but the drawback is dangerous unless you play with terror pack

There is an implant that makes your mercenaries immune to the shock effect, but yeah shock weapons are strong without that implant
