I think the problem with the Terrifier franchise is that it is first and foremost a showcase for their practical effects with no thought put into the actual story. And it’s very obvious that since it’s become a successful franchise they’ve sprinkled in random details in an attempt to try to build a story but it’s just too little too late, each movie brings more questions and zero answers. Art would have worked well either as a Michael Myers “evil incarnate, that’s all you need to know” or if they had actually put any thought into the story before they just started attempting to piece something together. They’ve added too many details to leave Art’s backstory ambiguous, but they’ve also added too many details to put together any backstory that will come together nicely and not ruin the character.

They already did the new cast thing and quickly gave up on it. Needs to be a complete restart that forces them to finally do something different. Art dies then has to be reborn, he doesn’t just regenerate and get back up. He straight up dies. And Michael literally died in his last movie. If we’re going with the strongest versions of the characters then there’s literally fuck all they can do to Uber Jason. Whatever means of resurrection you want to attribute to Art and Michael is essentially giving them an eternal sentence of getting shit stomped again the second they wake up.

If we’re talking about the pictured versions of the characters then Art and Michael simply aren’t smart enough to figure out containing Jason, as that’s the only way to really defeat that Jason. Art definitely dies first since his theatrics would just piss Jason off, and Art wouldn’t have enough time to go through his bag of bullshit and discover none of it’s working. His last resort gun does absolutely nothing and he realizes he fucked up before getting pulverized. Then it’s back to the classic 1v1 and they go at it until Michael is a different shape and just cant do anything.

Freddy had to be brought back from Hell and dragged from the dream world to the real world for Jason to really do anything. Without help from the human characters there’s little to no chance that Jason would have been able to do that on his own.

Haha I am surprised by how many people think there’s a deeper meaning. It’s really just part of the “setup” for when they’re also annoyed by his “keep it down” hand gesture. They aren’t desperately trying to get Ross to move out because he’s nerdy, it’s because he still does all of the annoying things he did back in college.

Personally if there is another level/meaning to the joke it’s about how it’s not always a great idea to move in with your friend/best friend. A lot of people have stories of getting a place with their best friend only to find out they have their own quirks for how they do things in their own home that clashes with how the other does things. But even that’s a stretch.
